Stab Back

Stab Back, hailing from the infamous Brabant area in the Netherlands, started out as most bands; friends playing the music they love together. No “from the ashes of” story here. This is their first band and far from any ashes. Dealing with the usual lineup-changes through the years, they're now more complete than ever and ready to trash stages everywhere. Expect raw and brutal NYHC influenced pissed-off hardcore with heavy breakdowns and grooving mosh parts.

Aside from playing numerous shows they put out 3 releases so far. In 2003 they released their first effort, a now sold-out D.I.Y. demo, recorded together with Mark Raijmakers (ex-Close Second, ex-Blind Sight). In the beginning of 2005 they recorded another demo, this time with Gijs de Louw (On Fire, also worked with State Of Mind & No Turning Back). This demo got released D.I.Y on tape. Soon after that they'd hit Studio 195 to work with Patrick Delabie, known from his work with Dead Stop, Justice, Restlesss Youth and Strike First among others. The result, a 5 song MCD called "Breaking Out", is out now on Shield Recordings and is getting good reactions.
