Smash the Statues is back with their second full length album called “When fear is all around us”.
For those unknown to Smash the Statues, they are a hardcorepunk band which plays music in the vein of Good Riddance, Strike Anywhere and Propagandhi. Smash the Statues started in 2003 and in September of that year they released their first demo which was well received by magazines and e-zines. After the release of Smash the statues played as many shows as possible. In 2006 Smash the Statues released their first full length album “Against the Stream”, released by Angry Youth records.
Again many shows and even some tours followed and Smash the Statues gained more and more awareness.
In 2008 it was time to record a second full length; the result is “When fear is all around us”. The new full length contains 14 songs of some of the best hardcorepunk music you heard till date.
The vinyl version of this record comes in a great looking gatefold sleeve!
The first 60 vinyl pre-orders will get something special (what that is will remain a secret until you got it).
