The Real Danger - Down and Out CD/LP out March 15th.

We at Shield Recordings are pretty stoked about the release of The Real Danger`s third album called Down and Out.
With Down and Out The Real Danger releases 12 brand new tracks (well 11 TRD tracks and a cover) in the way they do it best: PUNK ROCK.
Down and Out was mixed and mastered by Stephen Egerton (Descendents/ All) so you know it will sound pretty damn good! Not convinced yet? check out a brand new track at the The Real Danger Bandcamp:

Down and Out will be released on March 15th and introduced to the public that same day at Bar America in Middelburg:

We will be pressing CDs and LPs of this amazing album, 100 copies on limited orange vinyl and 200 on blue vinyl. The Orange vinyl is already going fast so you better pre-order it now in our webstore:

Of course we got more release up our sleeves for the coming months, we don`t have all the info yet but among those releases are:
- A new Bad Ideas CD (End March/ early April).
- A new This Routine is Hell album called "Howl" released on both CD and LP (April).
- A new Shield Recordings sampler which you will get free with every order (or if you ask nicely!) (April)
- A new MCD/ 12 inch LP by The Road Home (June)

The Real Danger/ The Windowsill – Split 7 inch pre-orders online now.

We at Shield Recordings are pretty stoked for our first release of 2013 (and release Nr. 50 for Shield Recordings. Who would have thought!). It will be a split 7 inch between two of the best punkrock bands from the Netherlands: The Real Danger and The Windowsill.
People familiar with Shield Recordings will probably know The Real Danger as the best Dutch punkrock band on our label!
The Windowsill is a fairly new band with some familiar faces (Ex and current members of The  Apers: Marien Nicotine, Jerry Hormone and Ivo backbreaker), who released a self titled LP in 2011. One of the best LPs released in 2011!

The Artwork was done by Michiel Walrave from The Real Danger, check out the awesome stuff he does at: http://www.michielwalrave.com/

We will release this baby early February and we will be pressing 100 TRD coloured (Pink) 100 TWS coloured (White) and 300 Shield coloured (Purple).

Ofcourse we got more releases planned for 2013! Our second release will be the 3 rd full length by The Real Danger called “Down and Out”. One of the brand new songs can be streamed at their bandcamp site:
